Registered Nurse - Night Shift Position

This is a night shift position, working a 12x3 schedule.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a 32-bed unit focusing on adult and older adult populations. This role involves the care of trauma patients, administering Heparin drips, and managing all acute medications as ordered. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a trauma unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts and geriatric chairs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Documented experience in medical telemetry nursing.
• Prior NICHE training or experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation is a plus.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required.
