This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend with the requirement to float to PCU for MSU assignments unless telemetry trained. Up to two extra mandatory shifts may be required within a six-week period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• NIHSS certification.
• Active RN license in the state of Nebraska.
