Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12 hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM). On-call up to 4 shifts per month.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work in a level-one academic trauma center, providing high-quality care in a dynamic and busy environment. This role involves both scrubbing and circulating for surgical procedures across various specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as both scrub and circulating nurse
• Ensure a safe and sterile environment for surgical operations
• Collaborate with the surgical team for optimal patient care and outcomes
• Maintain patient records and assist with documentation in the EPIC system
• Participate in emergency response as necessary during hurricane season

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room environment preferred
• Valid South Carolina RN license or Multi State/Compact RN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience in scrub position is strongly preferred
