Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide critical care in a high-volume emergency department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Level II trauma center and demonstrate a commitment to exceptional patient care and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients effectively in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Cerner documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Demonstrated experience in a high-volume ED (100,000 visits annually) and Level II trauma center.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before starting date.
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
