Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule / Shift

Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend; no on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical care skills and the ability to manage a variety of patient needs, including those dependent on ventilation and IV sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients, including vent-dependent and IV drip management.
• Administer sedation and monitor recovery after hours when necessary.
• Conduct assessments and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• May be required to float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit based on patient volume.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current driver's license and permanent home address required for travel eligibility.
