Acute Care Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8-Hour shift from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM; weekends and on-call duty are not required.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with acute care experience. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. This position does not require floating between units or on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' functional capabilities.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience required.
• Valid State Physical Therapist license is required.
• BLS certification is needed.
