Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with call every fourth weekend and one day a week. Holiday rotation required.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Technician is responsible for providing assistance during cath lab and interventional radiology procedures. This role requires scrub experience and the ability to perform fluoroscopy during procedures while ensuring patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology and cath lab procedures.
• Maintain proper radiation safety protocols.
• Ensure equipment is ready for use and functioning properly.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records related to procedures.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school.
• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
• ARRT registration required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Cardiac experience is required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including the ability to lift/push 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform CPR if needed.
