Shifts available are 5x8s or 4x10s, Monday through Friday. No weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Radiation Oncology RN to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to oncology patients, focusing on their unique needs during radiation treatment. This role does not require call or floating, ensuring a stable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects.
• Ensure patient education regarding treatment plans and side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 3 years of oncology nursing experience; radiation experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience using the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Must have prior travel experience.
