Med Surg RN - Acute Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Sunday.

Job Description

The Med Surg RN will provide high-quality patient care in an acute medical unit. You will be responsible for utilizing your nursing expertise to assess patients, administer medications, and collaborate with a healthcare team to deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in a Med Surg or acute care setting preferred.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
