Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts, 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within the X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist is responsible for effectively explaining procedures to patients and ensuring their understanding and competence in the procedures performed. They must produce images for the interpretation or request of a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comprehension and comfort.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Work collaboratively within a team during emergency and trauma situations.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and wear required radiation badges.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Multimodality Technologist.
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (pending certifications accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
• Experience with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS is highly preferred.
• South Carolina license preferred; pending licenses will be considered with proof of application.
