Contract RN - Dialysis (749) - 13 Weeks

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12 hours per day, rotating weekends; call required one shift per week and one Sunday per six weeks.

Job Description

The Dialysis RN will provide high-quality patient care to individuals experiencing renal failure. Responsibilities include assessing patients, implementing dialysis treatments, monitoring for adverse reactions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patients during dialysis treatments.
• Assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care and treatment plans in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic modalities and lifestyle changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have acute dialysis experience with IHD, PD, and CRRT.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid RN license.
