Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Schedule

Evening shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the assigned units. The RN ensures that quality care is provided efficiently and safely, in accordance with the unit's standards of care. The position emphasizes treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration, while demonstrating performance consistent with the organization's mission, philosophy, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and implement appropriate nursing strategies.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and families.
• Participate in the evaluation and improvement of care outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
• ACLS Certification from AHA required.
• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC).
• TNCC or ATCN required.
• CPI or equivalent preferred.
