Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7PM - 7AM. 36 and 48 hours available per week with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care Unit, which consists of 37 beds. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule and willing to float to other units as necessary. Charge nurse duties may be assigned, and training will be available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Documenting patient progress and care in EPIC.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute Med/Surg/Telemetry.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
