Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week. Must work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Required to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, where you will provide exceptional care in a 37-bed facility. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to support our acute medical-surgical and telemetry patients, leveraging your skills and expertise to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Teleunit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team and assist with patient education.
• Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements.
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities when assigned.

Required Experience & Certifications

• 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification required.
• For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
