Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, working 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in various specialties including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in med-surg nursing and possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting observations and changes in health status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and self-care strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in med-surg nursing.
• Valid RN license in good standing required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.
• Work history/resume must demonstrate no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist, references, and certification card must be provided.
