Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Orthopedic Surgical Technician to join a dynamic team in an Acute Care Facility. The position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience and a valid CA state license. The successful candidate will provide high-quality surgical support and care with a focus on orthopedic procedures. This role is suitable for first-time travelers and offers variable shifts primarily starting at 8:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures including but not limited to ankle fusion, ACL reconstruction, and hernia repairs.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all surgical protocols.
• Utilize various surgical instruments and technologies safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain clean and organized surgical environments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician.
• Valid CA state license is required; pending licenses accepted.
• Certification in BLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
