Registered Nurse (RN) - Flex Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will float between various medical and surgical units, providing patient care and support to a diverse patient population. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to different clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards of nursing practice.
• Educate patients and families on health and wellness topics.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current and active Hawaii RN license is mandatory prior to the start of the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC preferred).
