Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the behavioral health unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Must possess Handle with Care certification or be willing to obtain it; BLS certification required.
