Days, 6:30 am - 6:00 pm; floating required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Department by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, clinical judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Prioritize patient care and delegate responsibilities according to staff education and experience.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Provide direction and supervision to staff delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, & TNCC certifications required.
• ENPC & NRP certifications preferred.
• Fingerprinting for all travelers is required.
