Med/Surg Tele RN Position

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Travelers must work at least every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to provide care for a similar patient population. The facility will strive to honor preferred shifts but reserves the right to make adjustments as necessary to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Tele environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST HAVE 18 months combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Tele specialty, with 18 months of recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Two professional references required from a manager or supervisor in the specialty.
