Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional care in various critical settings including general adult and pediatric units, Adult ICU, NICU, and PICU. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, with potential shifts on weekends, and does not call for on-call duties. Candidates must have a strong clinical background within a teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients across various units.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and data management.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRTs will not be accepted.
• A minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS.
• Epic experience required within the past 2 years.

Schedule

This position operates on a 12-hour night shift basis. Schedule flexibility is essential, with shifts required on weekends as needed. Be prepared for bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays.
