Schedule

Mid 3x12-Hour shifts (13:00 - 01:30) with weekend coverage required. Expected to work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in a Level I trauma center, with the ability to manage high patient ratios and provide critical care in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a high-acuity emergency department setting.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and manage IV fluids.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize EPIC charting system effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in trauma resuscitation and other emergency procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active MI RN license.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I trauma center.
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with triage processes and high patient volume management.
