Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in performing pediatric echocardiograms following extensive protocols to accurately assess and diagnose congenital heart abnormalities. This role involves performing various echocardiographic views including Subxiphoid, Parasternal, Suprasternal, Right Parasternal, and Apical views in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Performing pediatric echocardiograms with proficiency in an array of views.
• Accurately documenting results and collaborating with healthcare team members.
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assisting in training and mentoring new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• ARRT, CCI, or ARDMS certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• A minimum of one year of full-time pediatric work averaging 20 echoes per week, or 4-5 years part-time experience averaging 4-5 echoes per week.
