OB Registered Nurse

12 hour Shifts; 4 days per week; ALL Rotating Shift Schedules

Job Description

The OB Registered Nurse will provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including high, moderate, and low-risk patients. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing a commitment to patient and family-centered care. All OB/GYN nurses are expected to float among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in labor and delivery settings.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and families.
• Adapt to the changing needs of the patient population.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in New York
• Two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery, OR and triage experience highly desired.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
