Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00, with every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience and either inpatient rehabilitation or Med Surg experience. The role involves working with patients who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries in a high acuity setting. Nurses are expected to assist with patient safety by answering call lights and supporting nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Monitor patient health and manage medical care plans as required.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility needs.
• Engage in patient education and advocate for their recovery goals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred experience in Med Surg or inpatient rehabilitation.
