Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide acute care therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, designing and implementing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as necessary.
• Document therapy sessions and outcomes according to facility standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
• Current Physical Therapist license in New Mexico (or pending approval).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with various rehabilitation techniques and patient modalities.
