Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Rotating shifts may be required to meet operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care at our facility. This position involves care for patients in various units, and the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED for similar patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Participate in training and orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate assessment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required; travel experience is acceptable.
• Must possess a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday is mandatory.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty must be provided.
