Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team for the night shift. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:6.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Epic charting.
• Participate in rapid response team activations when necessary.
• Manage central lines, feeding tubes, and other specialized equipment.
• Implement isolation precautions and provide wound care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid BCLS certification; CPI certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
• Experience in patient care ratios of 1:6.
• Travel experience is not required, but first-time travelers are accepted.
