Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of general and vascular ultrasound examinations. The patient population includes individuals of all ages, including neonates, children, and adults. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general and vascular ultrasound examinations on patients.
• Prepare and position patients for the ultrasound as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for all procedures performed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Manage on-call responsibilities and weekend call as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered sonographer.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS RVT (preferred credentials in abdomen or obstetrics/gynecology).
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies.
