Licensed Speech Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient

Day shift with guaranteed hours of 40 per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. This position primarily focuses on inpatient care with the possibility of some outpatient responsibilities. The patient population includes individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Parkinson's, as well as trauma cases, post-intubation patients, cognitive evaluations for home safety, and some swallow studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A valid Speech Therapy license in the state of Nebraska.
• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
