Schedule

Days, 8 hour shifts starting anywhere from 7am to 8:30am and ending at anywhere from 3:30pm.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist assists in breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. This role involves instructing and positioning patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality while ensuring compliance with safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness standards in the work area. The technologist is responsible for manually entering data to ensure proper preparation for dictation and billing while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies.
• Instruct and position patients for diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintain appropriate standards of safety, supply, and cleanliness in the work area.
• Manually enter data for dictation and billing preparation.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Mammography experience - Required
• ARRT (M) Certification - Required
• BLS Certification (AHA) - Preferred
