Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, Nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide critical care respiratory therapy in a variety of areas within the hospital, including labor and delivery. This role requires recent critical care experience and the ability to float to different departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and adjust therapy as necessary.
• Perform advanced procedures including intubation assistance and emergency airway management.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and provide necessary support in critical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• South Carolina RCP (Respiratory Care Provider) license required at time of start.
• National Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT).
