Schedule

40 hours per week, schedule to be discussed during the interview. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Manager of the Breast Center, the Mammography Technologist produces diagnostic mammograms, assists the radiologist and referring physicians in mammographic procedures, and ensures patient care while representing the values of the organization. The role requires the incumbent to possess technical skills to operate mammographic equipment, while demonstrating knowledge in patient care standards across various age groups.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist in mammographic procedures and collaborate with radiologists and physicians.
• Provide appropriate care based on patients' physical, motor/sensory, and psychosocial needs.
• Make technical decisions to improve mammographic image quality.
• Operate hospital and department computer systems effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT and NV State License (must have license prior to start date).
• BLS certification required.
