Interventional Radiology Technologist

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 4x10-hour shift schedule. The working hours are from 08:00 to 18:30 or 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will play a key role in providing high-quality care in the Interventional Radiology department. This position requires a strong background in both Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neuro, with a focus on scrubbing and filming procedures. The technologist will be responsible for assisting in a variety of complex interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IR procedures, including carotid angiography, discography, embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy.
• Ensure proper management and care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, including weekends and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro.
• ARRT certification and a Fluoroscopy Permit are required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience in trauma settings is preferred.
