CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist

Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (06:00 AM - 04:30 PM), On-Call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in cardiovascular operating room procedures, providing support during surgical interventions, and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiovascular procedures including CABG, aortic aneurysm repair, and mitral valve replacement.
• Manage sterile instruments and surgical supplies during operations.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical tools and techniques necessary for CVOR functions.
• Participate in floating to other units as needed, based on census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid BLS certification.
• CST certification through NBSTSA is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in CVOR settings with first assist roles.
• Experience with advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures is essential.
