Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) at our facility. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong clinical skills required for emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide nursing care to patients in the ED.
• Perform IV starts and manage sedation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Care for pediatric patients utilizing team nursing principles.
• Adhere to unit policies and guidelines, including patient and medication scanning procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year acute care hospital ED RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience in a travel nursing role or large facility preferred.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system is a plus.
