Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic therapy team in an acute care environment. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, providing evaluations and treatments for patients with a variety of diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor OT treatments and interventions.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Adhere to unit guidelines and policies while demonstrating flexibility in practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months of acute care hospital Occupational Therapy experience.
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy licensure.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with trauma and comprehensive stroke patients is a plus.
