Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend work required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care for patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing a diverse range of medical conditions and will play a critical role in patient assessment, treatment, and education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage emergency situations efficiently, prioritizing patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and pharmacy.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid RN license in Washington or Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in an emergency department setting.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
