Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with acute care experience to join our team. This position will require flexibility to float between various units including acute, medical, ICU, and the Inpatient Rehab Unit.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across multiple areas including Acute Care, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehabilitation.
• Implement treatment plans tailored to patient diagnoses, focusing on conditions such as multi-trauma, SCI, CVA, surgical, and orthopedic cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote patient recovery and independence.
• Manage a caseload effectively while adhering to productivity standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Washington state occupational therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with IPR preferred.
• Experience in adult rehabilitation and various therapeutic techniques.

Schedule

This position operates on a 4x10 hour shift schedule (07:00 - 17:00) with weekend rotations every six weeks.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
