Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Options for 10-hour shifts may be considered.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Family Practice team. In this role, the RN will assist with patient care, manage inbasket communications, follow up on patient needs, and support point-of-care testing and immunizations. Experience with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in an outpatient clinic setting
• Manage inbasket work and patient follow-up
• Conduct point-of-care testing and immunizations
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic EMR system
• Float between clinics as needed to meet facility requirements

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid MT or Compact RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in outpatient or similar settings
• Experience with family care, internal medicine, or urgent care preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outpatient clinic environment
• Experience with specific nursing skills such as medication reconciliation and vital sign assessment
