Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to delivering quality care and is adept at utilizing advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as directed by physicians.
• Evaluate patient respiratory status and response to therapy.
• Monitor and record patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT certification (NBRC).
