Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Night shift: 3x12 Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires experience in high-risk scenarios and the ability to float to related areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide newborn care, including assessments and necessary injections.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries, ensuring meticulous adherence to protocols.
• Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Float between postpartum and antepartum units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in high acuity and high pace environments, ideally with at least 3 years in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN License and certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Proven ability to perform newborn care tasks such as ocular prophylaxis and vitamin K administration.
• Strong supervisory references required.
• Must successfully pass clinical review and provide current Nursys verification.
