OR Nurse Circulator

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM, with call required during weekdays for overnights and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OR Nurse Circulator to provide high-quality patient care in our operating rooms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a commitment to delivering safe and effective care to surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Coordinate and manage the flow of patients and surgical procedures throughout the day.
• Maintain sterile field and comply with hospital protocols and regulations regarding infection control.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state nursing license.
• 2+ years of experience as an OR Nurse Circulator.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and related healthcare practices.
