Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly with level I trauma center experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and competent in caring for ICU patients across various environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and in both ED and PACU settings while awaiting bed placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings.
• Float to different units as needed, including neuro, trauma, and progressive critical care units.
• Administer medications and perform assessments and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in competency testing as required within 24 hours of submission.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Nursing experience in a level I trauma center is strongly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is essential.
• Current RN license required.
• Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.
