Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will float between various medical and surgical units, providing high-quality care to patients. The position requires the ability to adapt to multiple clinical settings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient information and care provided in Meditech EMR.
• Assist in performing various medical procedures and using associated equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Current State of Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Preferred certifications include PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC.
