Surgical Technician - Dover, NJ

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with on-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis.

Job Description

We are seeking a certified Surgical Technician in Dover, NJ, with expertise in various surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will assist in surgeries and ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile before and during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Handle and care for surgical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly surgical area.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Surgical Technician certification.
• Experience in eye surgery (Cataracts, Vitrectomy, Scleral Buckle), Bariatric, Pain Management, General, Urology, Ortho (Arthroscopy), and Podiatry.
• Current state licensure as required in New Jersey.
• Proof of vaccinations and health screenings as outlined in the job details.
