Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-risk deliveries and associated patient care, along with required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide care for patients in labor.
• Perform special procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and Cooks placement for induction.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage patient care as per protocols.
• Ensure effective communication and documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; will consider candidates with less than 2 years with strong experience.
• Active RN license in MD or compact state.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
