Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with occasional variations to 15:00 - 03:00 as needed. Must be available for weekend and holiday coverage as required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional patient care in a facility caring for a diverse population, including individuals with cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health needs. This role encompasses the management of patients within a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those related to STEMI and stroke.
• Utilize electronic health records (Epic) for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with established protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required with a preference for applicants with charge nurse experience.
• Active RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Previous experience in STEMI and stroke care settings is essential.
