Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The ICU has 16 beds with patient ratios of 2:1, and may require 1:1 or 3:1 depending on patient acuity and staffing levels. You will provide attentive and compassionate care to critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in the self-scheduling process, managing shifts effectively.
• Adhere to the floating policy as needed to fulfill staffing requirements.
• Utilize Meditech for documentation and communication of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Previous ICU experience is mandatory.
