Travel MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3/12's with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership, anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care while maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. This role involves delegating patient care priorities, providing direction, and supervising assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in patient care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Cerner EMR experience is required.
• Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
